Join us for a special Hootenanny celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) this October!
The Davis Hootenanny!
In addition to providing community based employment opportunities to people with disabilities, Purple Tree also brings people with and without disabilities together through music and art.
Our Davis Hootenannies began as a monthly disability inclusive music event at Three Ladies Café with an open mic featuring the Team Davis Singers and guest artists. We continued the series online during the COVID-19 pandemic and are happy to be back to holding in person Hootenannies at Delta of Venus.
Check out our event calendar, recordings, and pictures from previous events below as well as our original pieces, "Davis Bike Song," "Best Buddies," and "Can't Wait to Get to Tahoe". Thanks to the City of Davis Arts and Cultural Affairs Program for supporting the Davis Hootenanny and to the amazing artists who have worked with us along the way!
